What is Ivueit?

Ivueit enlists freelancers to take photos of commercial property, so that landowners can see the status of maintenance or repairs.

How it works

Freelancers simply sign up, providing basic personal information, including their name and cell phone number. The site requires Vuers to be over the age of 18; have a driver’s license, auto insurance and a smart phone. For some assignments, Vuers would need to pass a background check.

Once accepted, Vuers are able to see project assignments in their area, which include the location, pay and what you need to do. You can accept or ignore these assignments.

What you do

Projects are usually quick. Each assignment requires about 10 to 15 minutes to take photos and answer a short survey about the condition of the property that was photographed. The details of each assignment are included in the job offer, including when it needs to be completed. The Vuer simply needs to follow the instructions.

In a few instances, you’ll need to get permission to go onto a private property.

Dress code

Even though some assignments won’t require personal contact with anyone at the property you’re photographing, the site expects Vuers to dress and act professionally.

That means, according to the company’s terms, that you show up appropriately dressed — i.e. no sleepwear, tank tops, hats or outfits that show excessive skin. You should also not have any visible piercings or wear ripped jeans, super-short skirts or clothing that contains offensive language or images.

Job frequency

How often will you get offered assignments? That depends on your location. But, even in the best of circumstances, it’s not often enough to make this full-time work. Vuers say they get one or two projects a month, rarely more.

Payments

Projects typically pay $5 to $32 per-project. That sounds generous for 10 to 15 minutes of work. But, you have to factor in commute time and expenses, which vary.

Freelancers say the site pays within 24-hours of completing the assignment, making this a great choice for freelancers who need money fast.

Recommendations

If you have spare time, we see no downside to signing up for Ivueit. You can register here.

You may also want to consider signing up for ProxyPics, which offers similar assignments but is aimed at helping insurance appraisers and property insurance companies.

A site called WeGoLook, may also be worth considering. WeGoLook typically wants photos of accident scenes and automobiles for insurance companies and attorneys.

What their users say (from Google Play)

This app provides you with a great way to make some extra money! Pretty quick on approving your completed jobs (which is rare with these types of apps). And payouts to PayPal happen instantly which is another major plus. Their in-app help is also really nice because you get to text back and forth with a real person. The only downside is that sometimes there are not a lot of jobs to choose from, but usually there are at least a few.

Pretty easy app to use. Go take some pictures and answer some questions for money. When I have had issues it’s hit or miss. They are pretty good at responding right away, but I’ve also gotten screwed outta pay because the vue wouldn’t load before the end of the time limit. Even though it was submitted with more than enough time. The app can be slow and sometime will just not open. But all in all a very good app

Great experience!

I downloaded this app a couple of days ago and found 2 jobs not too far from my house. From taking the pictures to submitting the finished job took about 15 minutes. And I was paid within 15 minutes after submitting. Great experience for me so far!

Installed it and right away and I had 8 jobs available in my area. Took the shots uploaded them and did the survey. The next day I had the money in my PayPal account. I hope they keep growing and get more jobs coming in.

Ivueit is an awesome, different, yet exciting app, allowing you to take photos and answer simple questions! All for little time spent and extra money in your pocket! The app is very easy to understand and has great instructions/directions! I am constantly looking throughout the day, to see what new,fun jobs are going to come up next! Definitely recommend! 🙂

Next-day pay

The instructions for each job are clear and easy to understand and they pay you the next day.

I wasn’t really expecting much as I have tried similar apps before and not gotten anywhere. But just a couple days after I signed up I was offered a $25 view. It was clearly explained and very straightforward. Took me only an hour. And they paid me within two hours.

Time limits

Started using the app about a month ago. Really need to make some extra cash. I found this app searching for more opportunities like this. At first, there weren’t that many jobs. I’m seeing more and more in my area lately so that’s cool. It’s not the highest paying app but it’s still been helpful. And I don’t really care for the time limits/penalties because sometimes certain thing can’t be avoided. I went from being a preferred vuer to standard in one bad day and lost ability to take more vues.

The distances between vues are crazy, which is why you have to do at least two to make them worth your while. With that said, the vues are pretty easy to do. If you are lucky you can make $50 or more a week .

From Apple app store:

I have had this app for about a year and have only done one or two tasks. I live in Wisconsin near the Illinois border, so I can do tasks in both states. It’s frustrating to get a message stating there are 200 assignments and go on the app and there is nothing in my area. They did have one assignment that paid about $7.00 that was 30 min from where I live. But it was not worth it to go 30 min for only $7.00.

I’ve been an iVuet for almost 4 months. I’ve had no issues with getting jobs or getting paid. But have run across 2 scenarios where I needed someone to report an issue either with the app or a job location. When contacting via email, I got no response. Via the app, no response.  When contacting via text, I got an automated reply “they have stepped away for a moment…be with you shortly.”

Easy money

Way easier than other apps that have you complete tasks. Took me ten minutes. It was about the easiest $12 to earn.

I have used this app twice. Both times I took pictures that took 10-15 minutes. By the next morning they were approved and that same day the money was in PayPal. But I wish there were more jobs.

From Indeed

You download an App and wait for “jobs” to become available near you and get paid a small amount for taking pictures and sometimes writing a short review. Most “jobs” are not too close and pay less than it would be for gas and time.

Pretty interesting work and great for those who like to be out driving and out of an office. The pay is OK as long as you are careful about selecting the right vues. If not, mileage will eat you up in a hurry. The vues themselves are easy enough for the most part but you follow directions well, and they don’t take long. It may pay only $8, but takes 15-20 min. It’s travel time and gas that you have to watch. Keep your eye on the app and snag a vue or two on the way somewhere. They pay fast.
