Have a driveway or garage in an area where parking is scarce? You can make good money if you’re willing to rent a parking space by the hour, day or month.
Several sites can help you rent a parking space. Here are a two worth recommending.
Pavemint
Pavemint lets you rent out your garage, driveway or parking lot to people looking for parking. Potential customers can contact you to park for an event or for a work day shopping trip. You determine when your space is available and what you charge. There’s no charge to list, but if you find a renter, you’ll pay a 12.5% commission to the site.
Be aware, however, that if you cancel a reservation, Pavemint may charge a cancellation fee and those fees can be stiff. Be sure to never accept a parking reservation unless you’re certain you can accommodate the car.

CurbFlip
CurbFlip lets you list your space for free; decide whether you want to rent this space by the hour, day, week or month, and set the price. The site connects renters and space-owners via email. There’s no cost to list, but if you rent your space, the site will take a 16% commission, and you’ll pay a 3% payment processing fee.
